August PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS
The theme in August is PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS and our focus is on the structure and contents of a PITCH. We "pitch" ourselves, our business, our services, and our products in multiple ways and in many different situations. This month, we begin with the "must-haves" of a pitch and create a simple, 60-second pitch (the "elevator speech").
We then discover and practice tips and strategies for public speaking that make you stand out from all the other speakers out there.
Finally, we expand the 60-second speech into a Pitch Deck (3-minutes) and share that with our teams, offering and receiving feedback.
